The Grassroots Music Network was started after two fellows of The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce), Dr Sue Oreszczyn and Dr Neil March, hosted a conversation at the end of January 2020 entitled “The Independent Music Conversation: Creating a Network to Support Independent Grassroots Music“. RSA Fellowship Councellor Peter Clitheroe invited his friend Pete Cogle along to the meeting. After a brief presentation, they joined a few fellow-minded individuals for a lengthy chat about where this discussion would take us. It brought us here. Welcome to our world.
