It is unwise to make potential fans work hard to find out about you. It may be tempting to create a sense of mystery around your music and your identity. However, unless your music is truly exceptional you run the risk that potential fans will give up before following you; reviewers won’t be bothered to review you; radio shows won’t take the trouble to play you; playlist curators may ignore you.
