This weeks tip is from Neil March and is based on something he finds is a constant issue. So it’s worth repeating.

Artists, managers, pluggers, labels etc. When you are approaching radio shows, online journals, blogs and so on; make it as easy as possible for the person you are contacting to play or write about the track/album/other. Make sure key information is clear (artist name, song title, location, genre, release date, any significant news) and the track(s) is/are in a form that is easy to download and play (i.e. MP3 as a straightforward attachment).
