A Downloadable List of Links to Music Blogs, Publications and Reviews
(Click on the titles to find out more about them and how to submit material. Please let us know if any of the links no longer work)
Note:
A small warning is that some of the blogs that review new music may just replicate your own press release or EPK without doing any ‘reviewing’ of their own and others might ask you to supply them with an article. While that may seem strange or even lazy, it does give you the benefit of having complete control about what the review says so it is not necessarily such a bad thing and it probably helps them to get new content onto their blogs more regularly.
There is also debate around the pro’s and con’s of paying for blog reviews and that this may be just another form of Payola (see Article by the blog I said Yeah)
