Whenever submitting MP3 files to radio stations, bloggers, podcasts etc please remember to update the ID3 tags. These are the pieces of information you can see in the Details pane when using Explorer on Windows (I’m sure there’s an equivalent on MacOS).
These are what’s used when you play the file in a media player, and will help your audience know the name of the track, the album it came from , the genre of the track etc.
Remember that all of your intended audiences have hard drives jam-packed with tracks by different artists, so if you just send a track called “01 – I love You” then it’s going to get lost in all that noise!
If you have up-to-date ID3 tags then you have a better chance of being noticed!
